Old Mill High School has announced the hiring of Chelsea Hauswirth as Head Women’s Lacrosse Coach.  Coach Hauswirth replaces Lauren Carrier who stepped down this fall to concentrate on the Women’s Soccer Program.

Coach Hauswirth is a 2009 Old Mill graduate who played basketball, soccer and lacrosse where she was a First Team All-County and an Academic All American for the Patriots.  Coach Hauswirth went on to have a standout career at the University of Connecticut.  Coach Hauswirth has a wealth of coaching experience at the youth, club and junior varsity levels.  Coach Hauswirth teaches Physical Education at Old Mill High School and also serves as the head coach of the Cross-Country Program.

Old Mill Athletic Director Jeff Martin stated that “Coach Hauswirth brings a wealth of knowledge to the lacrosse program and we are excited to have an Old Mill alumni and former Division 1 Athlete leading our program.  We look forward to the great opportunities that Coach Hauswirth will provide for all of the student/athletes in our Women’s Lacrosse Program.”
