Multiple Teams · National Signing Day at Old Mill High School


 

Angela Jones will attend Seton Hill University an NCAA Division 2 program in Greensburg, Pa and will play Field Hockey and Women’s Lacrosse in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference. Angela is a 4-year letter winner on both the Field Hockey and Lacrosse teams. Angela was an All -County selection in field hockey this year and lacrosse as a junior.  Angela is a member of the Old Mill Athletic Leadership Council and a captain in the lacrosse program.  Angela will major in Business at Seton Hill.

 

 

Jake Marcus will attend Lebanon Valley College a Division 3 program in Anneville, PA and will play in 
the Middle Atlantic Conference.  Jake is a 3 year varsity letter winner in the Old Mill Football program where he was first team coaches all county, 1st Team Capital gazette and Honorable Mention All-State.  Jake also played in the Baltimore Touchdown Clubs All Star Game and has a tryout to play in the prestigious Big 33 football game. Jake, a captain on the football team is also a member of the Old Mill Athletic Leadership Council and the Student-Athlete Advisory Council for AACPS Athletics. 

 

 

Maddie McDermott will attend Shippensburg University in Shippensburg, Pennsylvania a Division II program in the the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference and will play Women’s Soccer.  Maddie is a 4 year varsity player in the OM soccer program and was a captain her senior year.  She played in the Anne Arundel County Senior All-Star game where she scored a goal and had 3 game winning goals this season.  Maddie is also member of the Old Mill Athletic Leadership Council.

 

 

Kaiya Sabur will attend Towson University in Towson, MD a Division I program in the Colonial Athletic Association and will play field hockey. Kaiya was a four-year starter in the Old Mill Field hockey program and a two year captain. Kaiya was a first team coaches’ all-county selection for the past 3 seasons, a Capital/Gazette 1st Team selection the past 2 years and an All-Metro selection in the Baltimore Sun and Washington Post and a first team All Sate selection.  Kaiya played in the Anne Arundel County Senior All-Star Game and the Maryland State Field Hockey Coaches Association All-State Game.  Kaiya is also a member of the Old Mill Athletic Leadership Council.
